TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE – VEHICLE RENTAL
1. Renter
Requirements
1.1 Minimum
Age
The renter
must be at least 25 (twenty-five) years of age. For vehicles classified
as sports, exotic, or premium, a minimum age of 30 (thirty) years
is required. If the renter does not meet this age requirement, they must
contact an authorized agent to verify eligibility for other vehicle categories.
1.2 Driver’s
License
The renter
must hold a valid driver’s license for at least 12 (twelve) months. The physical
driver’s license must be presented, and digital versions are not
accepted in the United States.
1.3 Credit
Card
A valid credit
card in the renter’s name is mandatory as a condition to complete the
rental agreement.
2. Renter
Responsibilities
2.1 Proper
Use of the Vehicle
The vehicle
must be used strictly for lawful purposes and in accordance with traffic laws.
The use of the vehicle for the following purposes is strictly prohibited:
2.2 Vehicle
Care
The renter
agrees to keep the vehicle in good condition during the rental period,
including refueling with the correct fuel type and performing basic operational
checks.
2.3 Fines
and Violations
The renter
shall be fully responsible for any traffic tickets, fines, penalties, or
administrative fees incurred during the rental period.
3. Insurance
and Coverage
3.1 Collision
Damage Waiver (CDW)
Foreign
renters are strongly encouraged to purchase CDW, which covers damage only to
the rented vehicle.
The renter
may decline CDW if they have coverage through their credit card. The rental
company does not evaluate or guarantee the adequacy of external
insurance coverage.
If the
renter does not opt for CDW insurance and their third-party insurance does not cover the
claim, the renter will be fully liable for all damages, without limitation.
Any
violation of the contractual terms will result in the automatic cancellation
of the CDW, and the renter will be liable for all losses from the beginning
of the rental until the vehicle is returned.
CDW does not
cover electrical or electronic equipment.
If damages
exceed the security deposit, the remaining balance will be charged to cover the
deductible applicable to the vehicle.
3.2 Personal
Injury Protection (PIP)
PIP
provides financial compensation for medical expenses of the driver and
passengers, subject to the limits of the applicable policy.
3.3 Property
Damage Liability (PDL)
PDL
provides liability protection for third-party property damage. The rental
company has the exclusive right and discretion to settle any third-party claims
covered by the insurance policy or self-insurance certificate.
3.4 Roadside
Assistance PLUS (RSP)
An optional
emergency roadside assistance service that includes:

replacement cost for lost keys is not included.
Territorial
Limit: All
coverages and services apply only within the State of Florida (USA). Any
incidents outside Florida shall be the sole responsibility of the renter.
4. Fuel
Policy
4.1 Full-to-Full
The vehicle
must be returned with the same fuel level as received. Otherwise, a refueling
fee may be charged.
4.2 Prepaid
Fuel
The rental
company offers a prepaid fuel option, allowing the renter to return the vehicle
with any remaining fuel level.
4.3 Fuel
Type
Luxury
category vehicles must be fueled exclusively with 89 or 93 octane gasoline.
Exotic vehicles must be fueled exclusively with 93 octane gasoline.
5. Rental
Period
5.1 Rental
Term
The rental
period is defined in the rental agreement.
5.2 Extensions
Any
extension must be approved in advance by the rental company.
5.3 Early
or Late Returns
Early
returns do not qualify for proportional refunds.
Late returns may be subject to additional charges and penalties.
6. Cancellation
and No-Show
Failure to
appear to pick up the vehicle may result in a no-show fee, at the sole
discretion of the rental company.
7. Additional
Driver
7.1 Any
additional driver must be authorized by the rental company.
7.2 An
additional fee may apply.
7.3
Additional drivers must meet the same requirements as the primary renter.
8. Tolls
All
vehicles are registered in the electronic toll system only in the State of
Florida.
The renter may choose toll plans (unlimited or pay-per-use), which will be
charged according to the selected plan.
9. Mileage
Policy
Vehicles
may be rented with limited or unlimited mileage plans.
For sports,
exotic, and premium vehicles, the limit is 100 (one hundred) miles per
day, calculated as follows:
Any excess
mileage will be charged according to the current rate table.
10. Electric
Vehicles
10.1
Charging
Charging
costs are not included in the rental price. Any charging performed
during the rental period will be billed at contract closing.
10.2 Use
of Autopilot / Driver Assistance
In the
event of an accident, if it is determined that the vehicle was operating under autopilot
or driver-assist mode, the insurance will not cover the damages. The
use of these features is at the sole risk and responsibility of the renter.
11. Payment
and Reservation
If payment
is not confirmed, reversed, or declined by the card issuer, the reservation may
be automatically canceled without prior notice.
A signed
contract does not guarantee the reservation without confirmed payment.
